The following information is from Cherilyn Eager, tireless worker from Utah to save the children:
"Charlotte [Iserbyt] had been recruited by Reagan to help him dismantle the USED (Department of Education) as Senior Policy Adviser in the area of research and improvement. As it turned out, she found information within her office that she could not believe – plans in place to totally restructure education and track students into a government-managed workforce with programs that were deliberately dumbing students down, especially minorities in inner cities.
She had the tenacity to copy whole file cabinets-full of information that had never been made public before (of which I was able to get some copies) and leaked a few of them to the media. Her boss was Secretary of Education T.H. Bell, from Utah. It turns out that Utah was a “guinea pig” for these plans to standardize all education and to track students’ values and attitudes through computerized curricula, testing and databases with new “outcomes” (common core standards)...She exposed the social justice manipulation, the federal take over, privacy invasion of the testing and curriculum within the office she inherited.

CHARLOTTE THEN WROTE A 40 PAGE BOOKLET BACK TO BASICS REFORM: OR OBE* SKINNERIAN INTERNATIONAL CURRICULUM? THIS BOOK EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT WAS HAPPENING. SHE FORWARDED IT TO THE CONSERVATIVE ORGANIZATIONS WHO THEN BOYCOTTED IT.
WHY?
ONE PROMINENT CONSERVATIVE LEADER (PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY) TOLD HER THAT NO ONE WOULD UNDERSTAND THIS VERY SIMPLE AND EASY TO READ REPORT. CHARLOTTE SAID A BUTCHER READ IT AND HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM UNDERSTANDING IT. IF ALL THE "'CONSERVATIVE ORGANIZATIONS" HAD READ AND DISTRIBUTED THIS BOOKLET AND ACTED ON CHARLOTTE'S INFORMATION, WE WOULD NOT BE IN THE HORRIBLE EDUCATIONAL MESS WE FIND OURSELVES IN TODAY! WHAT MOTIVATED THE CONSERVATIVE GROUPS TO IGNORE CHARLOTTE'S VITAL INFORMATION.????

Senator Lamar Alexander has laid out the plan from 1989 forward. He chairs the committee from which this cradle-to-grave legislation has originated. You will be able to watch his video clip there. It is unbelievable that a Republican could promote such a socialist concept, but you must watch him to believe it.

When Ronald Reagan ran for President, one of his promises was to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education. The Washington lobby-bureaucracy was so powerful, it was easier said than done.
I became acquainted with his Senior Policy Advisor, Charlotte Iserbyt (Maine) over 25 years ago. She exposed the social justice manipulation, the federal take over, privacy invasion of the testing and curriculum within the office she inherited.
Were it not for her research, the national movement to Stop Common Core would not have the information they use. I recommend Charlotte's blog site The ABC's of Dumbdown.
Now more than ever, the US Department of Education must be dismantled. We have a Republican majority, so what is wrong?
Your senators are voting on whether to reauthorize the funding for the ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act). It's the controlling fuel that drives the Common Core-No Child Left Behind-Every Child Achieves agenda to allow nationalized education to continue rolling forward.
Another associate, Anita Hoge (Pennsylvania) has exposed the data mining and tracking and continued privacy invasion. Again, without her research, moms and dads across America would not know the impact of the tracking of personally identifiable information.
